Requirements to Study in Canada
Admission requirements vary from one institution to another, but common pre-requites are :
- Minimum 12th grade for undergraduate study in a university Community colleges and Technical Institutes are more flexible).
- Minimum of 550 in your TOEFL score (paper-based test)/213 (computer-based test).
- For a Masters’ degree you may require 16 years of education (10+2+4) at some places,
- Work experience and a GMAT score of 600 range for MBA Programs.
IELTS Requirements: For grade 12th pass-outs and applying for undergraduate programs, the overall requirement is Overall 6 bands with no less than 6 and for graduates applying for PG programs it is Overall 6.5 bands with no less than 6. But it may vary from institution to institution, respectively. Some of the selected institutions as of now are giving relaxation of 5.5 bands in one module. In some Colleges and Universities, PTE is also an acceptable criterion. During this unfortunate pandemic, Canada is also accepting the Duolingo test as well.
